Imprint Lost Horizon Monographs
Lost Horizon is a unique publishing opportunity for both the reader and writer of historical literature and fiction. As the name Lost Horizon implies, the metaphor of discovering new literature-territory or an uncovering of a new path through the human historical experience is available for authors. The reader of this new line of Imprint monographs will discover or uncover lesser known, but highly significant subjects in the scholarly community and general public, historical or otherwise, non-fiction or fiction. The monographs range between 100 and 120 or so in page count and are organized in an expandable number of categories or series, as needed. The publication length of these monographs falls between the average journal article of 20-25 pages and a full-size book of 250 or more pages. They can be issued in less time and at less cost.
We have already started work on a biographical/personal reminiscence series, a cross-cultural series, a military history series, and a series on air power. Many others will be added. A series can be catered to the needs of a sponsoring organization.
Forthcoming Imprint Lost Horizon Monographs.
